Damaged RAM memory can make your Mac work worse or slower than what it should. If you notice that it doesn't work like the very first day, check the status of the modules you've got on your computer thanks to Rember.

An easy-to-use console to test the RAM.

It's basically a graphical user interface for the memtest tool that we can now run without having to resort to the command line, so as to simplify the testing and diagnostics procedures.

How to use Rember to diagnose our RAM?

As soon as we install the application on our Mac, a pop-up window will appear to inform us about the number of RAM modules on our PC as well as their speed, type and amount.

We'll then have to indicate how much memory we want to dedicate to the tests and the number of loops that the program we'll do to test the RAM. We'll press the Start button and wait for Rember to carry out all the operation that we can view from the Log tab. Once finished, the program we'll provide us with a report with all its findings.

Requirements and additional information:

  • Minimum operating system requirements: Mac OS X 10.5.
